Pterophyllum scalare - Angelfish.
I love this fish. They are quite smart, paceful most of the time, a nice medium size and their sking is a nice bright white with black stripes.
The black stripes are quite amazing actually, as they can turn them white (at least mine do!). Loos like the more bored andquite they are, the whiter they look to the point that you can't tell where the black stripes where.
As they get hungrier and more active, their strips come back.
They are very curious and quite nice to other fish, except for very small ones, as they are "food".
I have two Pterophyllum scalare living in my medium tank along some Ancistrus sp.
